I love you so much wall- Jo's Coffee
http://youtu.be/GVcwMmQYVeE
This past weekend an Austin Landmark was destroyed. The I
love you so much wall at Jo’s Coffee shop on South Congress was written over
with profane language. This Austin landmark is loved among locals and a popular
destination for tourists. People come from all over to take photos, drink a
wonderful cup of coffee, and share in the positive message.
This was not the first time this Austin Landmark has been
damaged, angering many austenites. Many Austenites
agreed that this was a horrible prank ruining a timeless Austin landmark.
This wall also serves as a popular destination among the
newly engaged. People come from all over to take their engagement photos. Just
to show how much they really do love each other.
Austin Couple Melody Fury and Peter Tam took their
engagement photos at the I Love You Wall. They love what this wall stands for
and the sum up the wall in on word “Warmth.”
One-thing remains certain Jo’s Coffee shop will continue to
spread their famous message “I Love You So Much.”
Paid Parking in West Campus

Many residents in West Campus have noticed a huge change in
regards to parking. With the start of the new semester came the appearance of
paid parking meters.
Parking
meters are zoned for Nueces Street and various parts of West Campus as part of
a new Parking Benefits District.
The new
parking meters will fund better sidewalks and streetlights for the West Campus
Area.
Many
residents are not happy about the paid parking. Madilynn Garcia, a resident in
West Campus expressed concern with the new parking meters.
“I’m
pretty annoyed. Its definitely an inconvenience,” said Garcia. “I think there
is no more free parking in West Campus which is really inconvenient.”
Most
Parking in the area used to be on a first come first serve basis. Meaning
anyone could park his or her car for however long without leaving. Now with the new parking meters this luxury is
not available.
The
meters will run from Monday-Saturday from 8a.m to 6p.m.
